When I first found Michelle from Take Aim, her dream driven mentality really peaked my interest because bloggers sometimes get a bad rep. for being superficial and pretentious, which none of our City Style Files guest have been. Michelle’s effort for creating a space dedicated to socially conscious brands and people under “Take Aim” isn’t going unnoticed. In fact, her Insta tagline is “Take aim at what you love” motivates readers to follow their dreams thus connecting them to Michelle on a much deeper level. Love THAT.
Name: Michelle Madsen
Location: Los Angeles, California
Q: Describe your city’s style using only one word.
Q: What makes your city’s style different from other cities?
The weather is great about 98% of the time and you can often wear the same type of clothes year-round. It makes things easy!
Q: What is your favorite restaurant in your city & what do you order?
I’m always excited for a good sushi date – Sugarfish is my current favorite and I usually order the “Try Me” dish where I can get a variety of sashimi and sushi.
Q: What does a typical Friday or Saturday night out for you look like?
If I’m not going on a date with my husband in Downtown LA, I’ll be hanging with my family in Orange County or attending an event in West Hollywood. We also love a good movie and take-out on occasion!
Q: What is your closet staple must-have?
Boyfriend button-down shirts. They’re so versatile and effortless and cool at the same time.
Q: What’s your favorite store?
Such a hard question but if I had to stick to one place it’d be Need Supply.
Be sure to catch Michelle on Instagram for all her adventures!
