How/why did you get into blogging?
Blogging is something that I’ve always wanted to do but I never really knew how to get started at it. A friend of mine in college used Instagram as a platform to break into the blogging world, and it inspired me to stop putting it off and finally start my own blog.
What’s been the most effective way in connecting with your readers?
I love reading everyone’s comments and I always try to respond to everyone’s questions, I find people are so appreciative when you take the time to connect with them.
How do you set yourself apart in a saturated market?
As hard as it is not to compare myself to others, I try not to focus on what everyone else is doing and just focus on myself, and how to improve my own content. I think being genuine and consistent goes a long way!
What’s your source of inspiration?
I get inspiration from everywhere, whether it’s scrolling through Instagram or Pinterest, or when I’m out and about shopping or people watching. Whenever I see an outfit or hairstyle I like then I will try to recreate my own version of it that matches my own style.
How do you stay relevant in the blogosphere?
I just try to stay consistent with my posts, and engage with my following. I also think it’s important to connect with other bloggers and people who share the same interests that you do.
How is Canadian blogging different from American?
I don’t think that Canadian blogging is that much different from American blogging, other than our unpredictable winter weather can really be a set back!
Where do you see blogging headed in the future?
I have no idea!! All I know is that I really enjoy what I’m doing and there will be a lot more to come in the future!
