Style File Friday | Kristina of Style by Wilde

As I mentioned earlier in this post, we’re changing City Style Files to Style File Friday in correlation with our 2016 digital world takeover. This week I chatted with another LA native, Kristina Wilde from Style by Wilde, about LA’s style and blogging her way to success. Check it out… 

Q: Describe your city’s style using only one word.

Hmm.. my city style? That’s a tough one since LA has so many different influences. I would have to say, trendy.

Q: What is your favorite restaurant in your city & what do you order?

My favorite restaurant is a vegan Mexican place called Gracias Madre. I usually always try and spice things up, no pun intended, hehe, but the food does get a little spicy there according to my boyfriend. I usually like their tacos!

Q: Where’s the best place to go for a Saturday night out?

Typically I like a girl’s night in with my best friend Serein. She lives down the street from me and we just chill, do blogger things and talk gossip… what girls do best!

Q: How/why did you get into blogging?

I started blogging just about 3 years ago when I wanted my mom to take my outfit of the day. For the longest time she would be my photographer and she absolutely hated it. After being off and on for such a long time after year 2, I decided to take things serious and have been solidly for just about a year now!

Q: What’s the greatest contributing factor to your success?

Understanding what my audience wants and keeping things relevant. I used to just post pictures on my Instagram and blog that wouldn’t really have anything related to the blogging world. Sure I have to sacrifice when I go to a an awesome concert I can’t post about it, but it’s totally worth it! Keeping my “feed” on Instagram consistent and what people want to see has definitely pushed me more into the direction of blogging.
