I may have gotten ahead of myself on this one considering it was just snowing and they’re calling for more snow this week, but a girl can still dream of spring, right? Anyway, as you know, I’m all about style on a budget so my spring fashion wishlist will leave you looking like a million bucks (or at least a few hundred) without spending it.
I also want to acknowledge the fact that I’ve included an abnormally large amount of color in my roundup here because, well, pink is coming back… and I’m into it, surprisingly. When I say pink I mean “dusty rose” it’s all about the dusty rose this season, (do I sound like a host on StyleCode live yet?).
1 | I’m usually not one for color but I really think these Quay sunnies could go with just about anything this spring. I love how the shape is very reminiscent of the Dior shades yet you can buy them for a quarter of the price.
2 | My first dusty rose piece that I’m totally in love with is this suede bag by H&M. I would just wear this with a whole lot of denim. Picture a white T tucked into some stone washed jeans and a patchwork denim jacket with a pair of flats. #pictureperfect
3 | I really, really fell in love with this slim striped button down. I love that it ties in the front, I love that it’s oversized, and I love that it could go with practically everything else on my wishlist.
4 | Fringe is also in for spring so find it, get it, and wear it as often as possible. The length on these fringe Topshop jeans is perfect for spring because the crop is just right. And I am a psycho about my cropped jeans. They have to be cropped right at my ankle for the most flattering fit, which is pretty hard to find in my opinion.
5 | Andddd we have more dusty rose. I am really not a huge jewelry person, let alone frilly, pink, dangly jewelry, BUT these earrings from H&M just stole my heart so I had to share.
6 | These Sam Edelman flats will be mine. Mark my words. They’re selling out everywhere so if you love them as much as I do, you better snatch them up quick!
7 | This H&M quilted bomber is the most expensive thing on my spring fashion wishlist, but it’s well worth the price. Bombers are jackets that never go out of style and the one above is a particularly great transitional piece because of the color.
8 | For my last surprise I’ve included this denim mini skirt from Topshop. I’d really never thought I’d live to see the day where I would be an advocate for a denim mini skirt, but here I am. I think with an embroidered white T and some espadrilles, the denim skirt would be really cute for spring. If it’s a cold spring day, a sweater would go great with it too.
What do you have your eye on this spring? Any fashion trend or item… share in the comments!
