Years ago I would have laughed at the idea of wearing sneakers and a dress and being called “chic”. I’m actually almost positive I blurted out to one of my poor friends, “WHY ARE YOU WEARING SNEAKERS AND A SKIRT?!” Her response: “Eh. It’s just what I do” was priceless. Welp, apparently she was way ahead of the style scene than I was.
Lucky for my friend… and I, the fashion industry has finally caught on to the sneakers and dress thing and I couldn’t be more excited. There’s nothing I dread more than an uncomfortable shoe but nothing I love more than feeling sexy classy. Sneakers and dresses totally give me all that and more.
How to Wear Sneakers with a Dress
♡ White sneaks only. The Stan Smith pulls this off beautifully.
♡ Low riders > high tops. How ironic as I’m wearing high tops…
♡ Don’t show your socks. I got some awesome no-show socks from Forevs recently.
