I don’t know why I haven’t thought of this before because knowing how to save time on new blog content is genius.
A blogger’s life is typically insane, there’s always something you could be doing. From the time you wake up, til the time you go to bed, you have a jam-packed day. Some of us are balancing a full-time job, family, friends, exercise, and everything in between PLUS running a blog.
It’s not easy and if anyone told you any different, I hate to say it, but that person was lying. Don’t fret because once you learn how to save time on new blog content your life will be way easier.
save time by recycling old blog photos
Here’s how it works:
If you’re on vacation, in a rush, overwhelmed and don’t have the time to take and edit new photos, just browse through your old stuff and see how you can compile a new blog post by using already used pics so you’re still bringing great content to your readers.
For example, when I was highlighting denim skirts, I decided to use my old blog pics and create 3 Ways to Wear a Denim Skirt. I literally just snagged pictures from previous posts and voila! You got yourself a new blog post, baby.
save time by planning content ahead
Here’s how it works:
Write or plan 2 weeks ahead that way if something comes up and you don’t have as much time to devote to your blog you can just use something already written. I have a handful of posts on hand in case I experience writer’s block or can’t create new content.
This can be done with a content calendar, too. You fill in each space with a rough idea of what you want to post about, so when the time comes you know exactly what you’ll be posting.
Not all of us can provide new pictures every single day. Recycling old pictures and planning ahead is the perfect remedy for how to save time on new blog content. Plus not many bloggers do it, so while every other blogger is busy sharing just one outfit, you’re acting as a virtual stylist by bringing 3, 4, 5 different ways to wear a particular item. Like I said, genius.
Have you tried these techniques? How did it work for you? Tell me in the comments below!
