A Workout Routine that Actually Works

A WORKOUT PLAN THAT WORKSHere’s the deal: I am not a personal trainer, nor am I certified in any area of physical fitness BUT I did take a kinesiology class in college once… With that said, I don’t have the knowledge or background to give specifics about how things work, but when you see results, it’s pretty clear the method is either working or not, {if you follow me on snapchat, username: iambrittgrace, I revealed exactly what I do}. And lucky for you my lil’ workout routine WORKS and I’m going to share it with you. First let’s #throwbackthursday to a KWL chart…

What I Know

♡ You have to tear muscle in order to build muscle

♡ Protein helps with the muscle building process

♡ HIIT = High Intensity Interval Training = burns fat faster

♡ LISS = Low Intensity Steady State {aka a brisk walk for 45 minutes}

♡ Lifting weights tones & sculpts

♡ Cardio/calisthenics build endurance and strength

♡ 80% diet, 20% exercise

♡ Why can’t I get rid of my love handles?

♡ You can’t target where you lose fat, stay patient & consistent, eventually the love handles will go away

♡ Meditate after you workout for 5-7 minutes {your body is still high from the endorphins, meditation is the icing on the cake}

♡ Pray to the Uni-verse {give thanks for what you’re grateful for, pray for your loved ones, & ask for your goals to be met}

♡ Cut the carbs {get rid of anything white from your diet… seriously, replace white pasta with brown rice pasta, stop eating your feelings… put the cake down}

♡ Eat a wholesome breakfast {2 eggs – no cheese, homemade granola & fruit, hot water & lemon}

♡ Drink at least 2 liters of water a day {this is the average for an active female}
