A selfie is one of those things that we constantly question: ‘should I or shouldn’t I?’ when really there should be no question. You’re having a great day and feeling attractive so it’s only right for you to share that with your followers in the form of a selfie.
I get it, you don’t want to be like Kim K 24/7 (at least you don’t want to show it), but posting a selfie doesn’t automatically mean you’re some narcissistic psychopath who has nothing better to do than to take the same picture over and over again.
You’re confident
It takes someone who is super comfortable in his/her skin to post a picture of themselves up close and personal; not to mention the amount of criticism you may receive from doing so, but choose to post it anyway. You don’t justify your actions, because looking good needs no justification. You just go with how you feel: I’m sexy and I know it.
In all seriousness, a selfie every now and then is incredible, and there is nothing you should be ashamed of.
You live unapologetically
You are who you are and that’s just the way it is. You’re not ashamed of your past or how you choose to live your life currently. When you look and feel good, you want to share that with the world, regardless of what anyone has to say about it. #sorrynotsorry
Usually the people throwin’ up selfies are the ones who just don’t give a _______. And why would they? They just posted a super close-up picture of their face.
You love yourself
If you enjoy snapping selfies, you enjoy yourself. Period. And loving yourself goes a long in business, friendship, and your relationships. I mean, if you don’t love yourself, you can’t expect anyone else to either.
You take risks
You’re not sure how anything is going to turn out, not even your selfie, but you go for it anyway. Much to your surprise things always turn out for the best, sometimes better than expected. You take big risks for big rewards outside of Instagram.
